It is emphasized that alternative agreements deviating from the stated terms may be entered into in writing between the parties.
Cancellations must be made no later than 10 days before the start of the event. If the cancellation deadline is exceeded, a fee of 50% of the agreed price will apply. If the agreed price is lower than 2 000 NOK, DAK may charge a cancellation fee of 1 000 NOK.
Below are specific terms for the cancellation of individual services and/or personnel. It should be noted that DAK may adjust the cancellation terms as needed, in consultation with and through a written agreement with the tenant.
If the rental of additional personnel, including an Operations Manager, has been agreed upon, this service must be canceled no later than the 10th calendar day of the month preceding the event. If the cancellation deadline is exceeded, DAK reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the agreed price.
Cancellation of catering services must be made no later than one week before the event. If the cancellation deadline is exceeded, DAK reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the agreed price.
In cases where DAK must rent equipment from an external supplier, the supplier's own cancellation policies shall apply. If the tenant cancels after this deadline, the tenant is obligated to cover any costs incurred due to the cancellation. The tenant is responsible for reviewing the terms and conditions of external suppliers. Information regarding which external suppliers are used will be specified in the rental agreement. Any changes in the use of external suppliers after the agreement has been entered into will be communicated in writing on an ongoing basis.
For events with an agreed price of 20 000 NOK excluding VAT or higher, a deposit equivalent to 50% of the agreed price must be paid no later than 10 days before the event takes place. Failure to pay the deposit within the deadline will be considered a cancellation, and the event will be annulled. The invoice for the deposit will be sent to the agreed billing address no later than 3 business days after the rental agreement is signed. For special bookings on short notice, where the standard deposit payment deadline cannot be met, an adjusted deadline will be determined through a written agreement between the parties. If the event is canceled less than 10 days before the scheduled date, the paid deposit will be considered as coverage for the cancellation fee, amounting to 50% of the agreed price.
